ParticipantYes they will recruit u if they are happy with u.(also if they are spending huge amounts to just train you then they may hesitate) I joined my first job in uk with only 4 months left on my visa.as long as Your ECS is positive they wouldn’t mind.

InactiveHi, they might or might not, if they are ready to give you work visa, they might keep you. I have seen that recently home office has become strict with visas. I don’t know which visa are you on, cause that also will be the reason. Like if you are on student visa or tier 1 or 2 visa. I would highly suggest you to get hold of a good solicitor, please make sure a good one not any who himself is asking laws from others, and take his advise. If you want to speak to me please pm me, and would guide you accordingly, where you are, and which solicitors are good one. You can also try ‘law society’ for guidance if you are in UK. This is free service and they will give you contact of few good solicitors around your area. You can then arrange appointment and usually 1st one is free. All the best

ParticipantYYou should apply for your visa atleast 28 ddays before it expires. Depending on the ttype of visa application you are making, the visa processing time would vary. Once you have made an application your visa auto gets extended under section 3c of the immigration rules. However, employers dont know this. So they will insist on the proper visa. You can ask them to make an enquiry on the employers checking service once you have received a case id number from the Home office. All the best!!!

ParticipantUsually employers are bit sceptic about offering job to the person who has short visa but the important question here is what type of visa do you have. If its a type of visa which they think could be extended easily they would be bit lenient in job offer. My suggestion would be to engage a Solicitor so that he can issue a status letter for you explaining your matter to your employer which may help in securing job. Please feel free to contact me should you need any legal assistance in this matter.
