InactiveI am slightly confused with this so thought of checking with you all. How is Brazilian keratin hair treatment. I have fizzy hairs and very tired of managing it. Have looked upon lot of forum. But failed to answer my query –
1) I understand that after the treatment hair becomes soft, smooth and straight (almost). It stays for 3 to 4 months. But I am unclear on hair quality post 3 to 4 months.
2) is it good to get this done by professionals or can be done at home?July 26, 2018 at 8:21 pm #5202Anonymous
InactiveAnita Pinjani: I got it done in india. After 3-4 months, your hair is same as it was before . If you keep doing it regularly, the frequency of needing treatment is reduced.

InactiveDarshika Modi: It basically controls unruly hair so no need to blow dry/ style as it should keep hair straight if wavy or frizzy ! I have it done & recommend . But be sure to use sulphate free shampoo & conditioner to retain the product .

InactiveSuneetha V Bhat: I have a natural remedy that you can try if you have some free time during weekends. I am a little apprehensive about the ingredients in most hair treatment products, so I try to go natural as much as possible.
Soak some methi seeds in water overnight. Grind them into a thick paste, then mix some curd. Apply this onto oiled hair and leave for 1 hour and wash off. Hair feels less frizzy and softer. You can repeat once in 2 weeks.July 26, 2018 at 8:31 pm #5205Anonymous
InactiveShikha Pathak: I have done it. After every wash you need to straighten your hair, though effort will be less. After 2-3 months the effect starts wearing off, so it will return to your own hair texture. It definetely makes hair much more manageable and good looking. You can do it at home if you can follow the instructions and spend 4-5 hours or get it done professionally.use salts free shampoo/conditioner as mentioned above.
BUT, first invest in a good hair straightener and see if u can simply straighten your hair after every wash using heat protection spray. If that works than no need of any chemical treatments. -
