Eye-brows are often ignored for no obvious reasons. Their presence is only felt when they need to be “threaded” or “trimmed”. There are many natural ways of getting beautiful eyebrows.
How to thread eyebrows safely at home
Eyebrows should never be threaded too thin! They should at least look natural even if they had been threaded. Using tweezers for plucking eyebrows is probably the most painless method of shaping eyebrows. Although a lot of people find it to be a painful process at first, it gets better with time. The best thing about tweezers is that, once you learn to use them on your own, you won’t need to run to the parlour every week!
Thin eyebrows
Thin eyebrows can really take away the attention from other areas on your face. Thick eyebrows are a strict no-no as well. They should be “just right”. How to do this?
Castor oil
Castor oil is one of best ways for getting naturally beautiful eyebrows. Put some castor oil on your eyebrows and leave it on for about half an hour. After the time gets over, wash the eyebrows and then wash the face. Repeat this process for alternate days and watch your eyebrows grow naturally.
Alo-Vera
Using aloe-vera is yet another way of thickening eyebrows. Often eyebrows become thin because of excessive threading. Aloe-vera can help with restoring the eyebrows to their original condition.
How to do this?
You can use either Aloe Vera gel or juice from Aloe Vera leaves. However, it is not easy for everybody to get the juice out of Aloe Vera. Using Aloe Vera gel on the eyes is the best way to go if you don’t want to use Aloe Vera leaves.
Vaseline
The good old Vaseline helps with growing eyebrows as well! Just rubbing some of the petroleum jelly on eyebrows can keep the area well moisturized. It also helps with thickening eyebrows.
Egg Yolk
It might sound yuck, but egg yolks help with conditioning the hair follicles of the eyebrows. Here is how to use it:
1) Separate the egg white and the yolk
2) Beat the egg yolk
3) Use your finger to apply the yolk on the eyebrows
4) Keep it for 20 minutes
5) Wash it off with cold water
6) Apply once or twice a week
How to keep eyebrows healthy
* Maintain a healthy diet
* Get enough dose of Vitamin D. It is not produced by the body but is easily found in sunlight. Spend 15 minutes under the sun regularly for getting enough Vitamin D.
* Apply some coconut oil on the eyebrows before going to bed. This helps with moisturizing the area and also with growth of hair.
